I guess Joe and Stacey have some competition!

I think this was the first activity where Nora and Robbie both had a blast the WHOLE time. From start to finish they were having so much fun!! We will definitely be mini golfing again. We brought our own clubs because our mickey mouse clubs from grandma are soo much cooler!

She was so proud every time she hit the ball, especially when it hit someone else's ball!

what a stud! Robbie was running all over the place!

hole in one! ok, not really since the ball is in his hand.

future tiger woods y'all
And of course this was all done for free! lol :-) Michigan has an annual "Be a tourist in your own town" event. You pack in all the activities you possibly can for free in one day. We also went on a boat ride in lansing, saw a puppet show, visiting the city market and road the city buses (daddy's school bus in Nora's words) to get to each location, it was way fun!

Nora and Robbie's favorite little friends!

It's a good thing we love our friends here in Michigan since there isn't any family close by. These two fireballs are the cutest little friends. Always on a mission of mischief and fun.

K, we totally didn't plan these dresses! how fun!
We miss our Lily so much! Nora wants to know why everyone is far far away in utahland.
Robbie and his best buddies, Daxton and Case. Case come back to Michigan! Idaho is totally overrated!

Robbie is one and Easter morning

Everyone knows I'm not the best baker, so yeah, I didn't even make these cupcakes! My friend Delicia surprised us with them tonight on Robbie's birthday. Thank you so much Del! they were delicious :-) and super cute for the pictures too!

Of coarse Nora was a big help in blowing out the candle, well she probably did it all!
She was more excited than Robbie

I can't believe I now have a one year old and a two year old! I better step it up a notch because I now have two toddlers. scary!

the kiddos got matching potato heads in their easter baskets. funny story... I was sick on easter sunday so we celebrated a week late. it actually worked out better that way because I got their gifts for 75% off (after easter sale) score! they're too young to know anyway :-)

Man, these kiddos make me so happy

some fun shots

mark took these the other morning, thought they were pretty funny!! I promise this is for real and not staged, like mother like daughter I guess. pictures were taken two minutes apart. don't mind my morning uglys :-)

here's a little Robbie update. He is officially walking! he's been taking steps here and there for a few weeks now, but today he was actually walking. He is just so fun to have around. He loves pestering Nora, and he totally knows when he is getting her all worked up. It's too funny!

updated photos of Miss Nora and Robbie

It's a beautiful day today! We've been outside all day trying to play as much as we can before it gets cold again. It was freezing the last couple of days. Here are a few photo updates. Robbie's hair is so light it just blows my mind! It's actually even lighter than it looks but the cradle cap makes it a bit darker. Nora turns 2 tomorrow!! We are having a little celebration just the 6 of us. Dad, Mom, Nora, Robbie, Woody and Buzz!! (those are her two presents tomorrow) She just loves toy story, and we just love her, so of coarse she gets whatever she wants! And this year it just happens to be Woody and Buzz.
Love y'all and miss you all!!!

they really love eachother!

She is so good at making him laugh!!

I know it's been a LONG time

This is gonna be an extra LONG post. Unfortunately it's been so long I don't think it's possible to really fill you in on everything! Here's me and Nora at our new house in Michigan. Yes, for those of you who don't know where we are now, we're in Michigan. And... we love it! Our ward is rad, our neighbors are rad, mark is loving school, we have a huge backyard (therefore Nora loves it) and we have eachother, so how could we complain!? Not yet at least, since we haven't seen a Michigan winter :-)
We visited NYC for the 4TH OF JULY
It was Mark's first time ever going and it was super fun! My mom helped us out so much! She flew out east with me and the 2 kiddos.

Ok so I don't want to sound like I'm boasting (although I totally am) but Robbie is the best baby ever!! Seriously I think Heavenly Father just knows with all my medical junk that's going on right now that I couldn't handle a "normal" baby. Seriously, Robbie is not normal. He'll lay on my bed for 2 hours while I clean and not cry at all! He sings and makes bubbles all day long. Nora is pretty good entertainment for him also :-) He is just so content all the time. I lay him on the floor in sunday school and relief society and he just chills there for 2 hours, for reals! He makes me so happy. I am so thankful for him and that he is in our little family. I am constantly thanking Heavenly Father for such a good baby because I couldn't have handled another Nora. LOVE HER!! but I just couldn't have had another one like her right now at this point in my life. Concerning my issues... I am sooo much better. I'm still having to go to the hospital weekly but really, so much better than before :-)
Nora absolutley loves Robbie! She calls him her "baby doll." Watch out though because she is very protective over him also. Only her and Mom are aloud to hold him, not even Dad! She's too jealous to let mark hold him in front of her.
Baby came in May, we were in D.C. June and July and moved to Michigan in August.
Mark worked at the Capitol this last summer
She is such a Daddys Girl!!!
A bunch of my family came out to Michigan after we moved here. It was so fun to play at the lake with everyone! Nora loves her cousins!!

Robbies first haircut. He was sporting a mini mullet so it had to go!

There's the low down. Mark is now in his second month in law school and working super hard. We miss everyone so much but are happy to be where we are :-)
Love you all!!!

Our new little bundle of joy

8 days old

baby mark wore the same outfit home from the hospital that his daddy did 25 years ago

nora loves holding and kissing "her baby"

Well it's 3am and I'm awake. Both of my children are asleep, so they aren't the ones keeping me up. I just popped a couple pain pills and I'm downing water to try and pass these lame kidney stones! It has been quite the broken road these last 3 weeks since little Mark was born. Between him being on lights (for 2 whole weeks) and me having infection after infection, a catheter for 10 days, 3 kidney stones and no husband, I have had lots of really down moments! It's amazing how Satan can mess with your emotions and make you think your life is a disaster right after you've just been given a miracle. Babies really are miracles, I know little Mark is for me anyway. I am such a proud mom! I feel so blessed to have two beautiful children to raise and watch over.
